The Committee of Seventy and the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania are hosting information sessions on de-escalation techniques for poll workers as part of their ongoing efforts to help prepare poll workers for election day. This session will focus on essential de-escalation strategies and techniques to ensure a safe and peaceful voting environment. It is perfect for a first-time poll worker or an experienced poll worker who wants to enhance their conflict resolution skills.
We will be hosting multiple sessions of "De-Escalation Techniques for Poll Workers" in the lead-up to the 2024 general election on November 5, 2024. All the sessions titled "De-Escalation Techniques for Poll Workers" will be identical, so you only need to sign up for ONE session.
All sessions will be held over Zoom. Please register in advance. You will receive an email confirmation the day before the session with the Zoom information.
